Our Projects
The values of the Alcadia company are carried by the women and men who make it up. They are inseparable from the factual elements expressed in our strategic objectives: the way to achieve an objective is, for us, as important as achieving these objectives.
The responsibility of Alcadia management is to give everyone the attitudes, habits and state of mind that lead them to make decisions in all situations that are consistent with the identity of the company, thus ensuring its sustainability and strengthening this identity.
The responsibility of Alcadia’s staff is to ensure compliance with the company’s values and to act according to them in all circumstances.
Thus, our professional approach is supported by the following values:
As part of its activities in the nuclear sector, Alcadia employees must face numerous safety-related issues. Thus, Alcadia, as an engineering company involved in the entire life cycle of INBs (Basic Nuclear Installations), is committed to complying with the requirements of the INB decree and developing a safety culture among its employees (and subcontractors).
Note: The INB decree corresponds to the decree of February 7, 2012, which specifies and defines the national technical rules relating to INBs for the protection of interests (mentioned in Article L. 593-1 of the Environmental Code).
Alcadia is committed to developing a relevant safety culture that is reflected in the following three principles:
Thus, for each service provided, each employee and subcontractor is asked to be aware of the risks associated with the activities they perform and their potential consequences on the INB and thus have a questioning, rigorous and communicative approach.
Since October 2024, Alcadia has been ISO 19443: 2018 certified. This certification attests that Alcadia provides quality services, in compliance with regulations, the requirements of customers in the nuclear sector and nuclear safety issues.
The nature of the services provided by Alcadia leads employees to work on industrial installations under construction, in operation or being dismantled (including on sites classified as INB, INBS or SEVESO).
In this context, the activities carried out must not have an impact on the health of employees and the environment. Alcadia is committed to a process of continuous improvement to anticipate, prevent and control its risks in order to make the company a safe place, respectful of everyone and our environment. It is with this objective in mind that the actions necessary to comply with three fundamental commitments in terms of health, safety and environment (HSE) are implemented, consisting of:
Ensuring strict compliance with the rules and legal obligations that are applicable;
Empowering and raising awareness among management;
Developing a culture of prevention of HSE attacks among all employees.
In 2023, Alcadia renewed its MASE and CEFRI certifications for a period of 3 years. In a context of good results and low accident rates, the HSE and Radiation Protection management system has proven to be effective and relevant in view of the professions, risks and geographical dispersion of employees.
The HSE culture of all employees continues to progress, through training, empowerment and equipping employees. Safety visits, field feedback and talks provide an opportunity for discussions and proposals that contribute to the company’s improvement action plan.
We are all stakeholders in the prevention and improvement of our HSE performance.
